Opportunity: Hiking/camping expedition

Ulster GAA has a very limited number of places available on our upcoming Joint Award (DofE/Gaisce) bronze expeditions.

The expeditions are part of the Joint Award Programme where young gaels are required to complete the following with their club:

The expeditions are 2 days, 1 overnight camp and include 2 hikes, one through Tollymore Forest and the other to Hare’s Gap in the Mourne Mountains. 

Cost is £103 and includes £28 registration fee for DofE/Gaisce and £75 for expedition costs which includes supervision and training, camping pitch, tent, sleeping mat, cooking stove, fuel for cooking, utensils, maps, compass, first aid kit, fire pit and logs.  Full details on the Joint Award can be found at www.ulster.gaa.ie/thejointaward
