O’Connell’s GAC are delighted to have been successful in our application to take part in the ‘Sporting Nature Project’ facilitated by Ulster GAA, 30 clubs have been selected.
This programme aims to help raise environmental awareness within the club and the local community, change behaviours, enhance biodiversity initiatives making a positive environmental impact, benefiting both nature and the club itself.
Our club can lead innovative biodiversity projects, turning our grounds into a hub for both sport and nature conservation.
