Dear Member,
In accordance with the rules of the GAA Official Guide, notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting (SGM2) of O’Connell’s GAC, Tullysaran will be held at the time, date, and venue listed above.
The sole purpose of this meeting is to consider, and if thought fit, pass the following resolution regarding the updating of our Club Trustees.
Agenda
1. Adoption of the Corporate Trustee Model
* Motion 1: "dThat O’Connell’s GAC approves the retirement of the existing personal trustees and the subsequent appointment of the GAA Corporate Trustee (Iomáint Camógaíocht Peil Na Gael Trusts Corporate Limited By Guarantee) as the sole trustee of the club property."
2. Authorisation to Execute Legal Documents
* Motion 2: "That the Executive Committee be fully authorised to take all necessary actions and execute all relevant legal deeds to transfer the legal title of the club property to the newly appointed trustee(s)."
Attendance & Voting Eligibility
* Only Full Registered Members who have paid their annual membership fees at least 3 days prior to the SGM are entitled to vote.
* No other business or topics outside of the specified trustee resolution will be discussed at this meeting.
We strongly encourage all eligible members to attend this important meeting to secure the future administrative structure of our club property.
